He continued his training under Professor David James (heir to the system) in 1989 and continues to support him today.
The System
Vee-Arnis-Jitsu is a combination art that focuses street self defense system. It is a non-traditional jujitsu based system the includes the principles of other systems such as Arnis (Philippine stick and knife), Judo, Aikido, Wing Chun, Thai Boxing and Kuntao. The system was created by Professor Florendo Visitacion, better known as Professor Vee and is now led by Professor Dave James (heir to the system).
Using various principles the system teaches you how to defend yourself in various situations, (i.e., empty hand, stick, gun or knife). What make Vee-Arnis-Jitsu different from other ju-jitsu systems is that it focuses on how to get to your Ju-Jitsu. I other words, what good is knowledge if you don’t have the opportunity to use it (it’s like having a gun that never comes out).
